Uh, mostly, I mean, I try to send things on time. I very rarely succeed. I HOPE THAT DOESN'T BOTHER YOU.
Leave your address here (comments are screened, of course) and I'll put you on our Christmas card list.
PLEASE SPECIFY if there is anyone specific you want to sign the card. Otherwise, you get me and whoever might feel like signing at the time. Anyone that has an icon is close to the front and paying attention, and might be nice and sign if you ask. Most of us would.
Likewise if there's someone in your system who specifically wants a card, or something.
I'm sure you'll figure it out.
List is open until I send cards, which will hopefully be in time for Christmas.
(Note: We don't actually celebrate Christmas, so you get generic holiday card instead. 8D)

Sometimes who you are just hits you full-force.
There are systems out there that I know have had issues with "what if we're all make-believe". I think we've been through that, too.
And there's people who go, "What if I'm not really who I am?"
Me? I have never once had that issue. I know exactly who I am, and have never had any reason to doubt myself.
But sometimes it's just so obvious. And you remember why you do exactly what you do, and you know that even though you can't be whatever it was you were - not to the letter - that you can still make a difference, if you try hard enough.
The advantage to the fact that I'm not superhuman is that I never have to miss being superhuman. All I have to do is think really hard about what I want, and work for it. Just like I always have, and like I always will.
And then there are those other things that make you wonder what the fuck you're waiting for.

I actually knew this HOURS ago, but I didn't post about it b/c I got distracted by reading comic books that are really bad for me, as usual. (Not that I ever read comics that aren't bad for me.)

Unfortunately, this means I do have to back to Colorado for a little while. I'll be there Tuesday afternoon, provided my plane doesn't randomly fall out of the sky like it almost did last time.

Lately all I do is whine, but you know what? I absolutely fucking adore everyone in this house. I really really really really do. I haven't even really had any moments of "ARGH I DO NOT LIKE YOU" with the people I've met here.
I mean, it's...hard for me to see certain people and know they're not the same and never could be, but that's not at all the same thing.
I mean, obviously I won't be staying here that much longer. Getting my own place, etc. But it doesn't matter, because I seriously do adore everyone here. I feel like the worst houseguest ever and I feel like I'm not good enough or special enough and I can never belong or fit in, but I...well. Still.
Maybe it's the same as being saved, just for a little bit. Just from the things I couldn't have the courage to save myself from. Saved from my ridiculous dreams and my stupid delusions and forced to close my eyes and leap.
I can't post this until tomorrow because THE LAPTOP HATES THE WIRELESS CONNECTION HERE, WHATEVER, but that's okay. It's still the sentiment that counts. At least, in this case.
I don't say thank you enough, and I should. But I can say it here and everyone will see it and everyone will know.
Thank you. For showing me that maybe I'm not alone in the world forever. Maybe...

President Bush admitted to approving the use of torture.
Never in my life have I been so incredibly ashamed to be an American citizen. And never in all the history of America has a president seriously needed to be impeached so badly as this one.
Yeah, he only has a few more months left. But think of the damage that he could still do.
Seriously, you guys, Democratic or not (actually, I'm a Liberal myself), please take a look at the page, sign the petition, etc.
Please. This is our country. I'm hardly the most patriotic boy I know, but I can't just sit around and hear this and feel nothing.
No American should be able to feel absolutely nothing about this.
